6-DAY SUMMER PROGRAM
The Art and Design Creative, 6-day Summer Intensive course is an intensive exploration of the fundamental skills, art mediums and areas for students looking to improve and further their interest in art and design. The course combines a variety of art and design methods from drawing, research and development, materiality, three-dimensional design, design thinking, and Iterative design supported by the study of the history of art and design. During the intensive 6-day program, students have a morning and afternoon class and are guided through projects and exercises that are designed to build their art and design vocabulary, practice, and artistic expression.
WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
Open to young creative students currently enrolled in high schools, the 6-day course is designed for students interested or considering a study in art and design. The course is tailored for students who would like to experiment in a variety of art and design areas. Students will gain the opportunity to develop artwork and skills that they can then apply to their portfolio for university admission, Students will gain hands-on experience, increase their creative skills and help create beautiful solutions.
WHAT I WILL LEARN?
Through a mixture of projects, exercises, world-class faculty demonstrations and studio mentoring, students will gain experience in dierent art subjects using a variety of media, processes, skills and techniques. Students will be guided through a series of creative projects, to improve their technical skills, thinking skills as well as developing their artistic identity. Summer instructor will guide students through the important processes of how to showcase and present their work - including evaluation and critique - to allow students to reflect on their progress for future development. At the end of the course, students will have strengthened their art and design skills and interest while building a creative portfolio of work.

UX-UI INTENSIVE
6-DAY SUMMER PROGRAM
This course introduces students to the fundamental aspects of UX, UI and Interaction Design. In a world where we increasingly deal with screen interactions, what makes a digital experience like an App efficient or even delightful? During this course, students will be presented with all the various methods and techniques involved within this discipline. By brainstorming, researching, providing persona studies, storyboarding, creating user journey maps, and paper prototyping, students will be able to complete their own visual concept for an App. Students will be guided and mentored by faculty from the world’s top design schools to advance their skills and portfolio. During the last day, all students will have a chance to exhibit their work alongside their peers. By the end of the course, every participant will leave with a strong understanding of what are the tools required to become a successful UX designer.

WHAT I WILL LEARN?
Through a mixture of projects, exercises, world-class faculty demonstrations and studio mentoring, students will understand the concepts of UX, UI, and Interaction Design. Students will be learn how to utilize the most common UX/UI research methodologies
Summer instructor will guide students develop a deeper appreciation for the fundamentals of user-centered design and the fundamental steps for creating an app. Students will learn how to refine visual communication via storyboarding and user journey maps. The course will also show what it is like to study UX-UI Design at the top design schools such as Parsons, SVA, Pratt etc.

FASHION DESIGN PROCESS
6-DAY SUMMER PROGRAM
Every designer has their own design identity and every collection has its own personal inspiration and narrative. This course introduces students to the fundamental aspects of what, why and how to design a collection from research to collection. Students are introduced to various methods and techniques to create fashion and all the aspects involved in the fashion design process. The course encourages students to begin to articulate a personal narrative and visual language as a designer. Students are guided through projects and exercises that are designed to build a fashion design vocabulary, understanding and artistic expression. Students use the city of Beijing as an endless laboratory of inspiration and visual research. Students are encouraged to experiment with color, texture, and material, learning how fabric is core to any collection. The art of mixed media through college, providing endless opportunities and possibilities to express ideas and create new fashion visions. Students explore the method of designing through college to generate fashion designs and collections. At the end of the course students exhibit their work alongside their peers and will have to strengthen their fashion design process, skills, understanding and application.
